Snorkel Day in the BVI's:
Again
impossible to do it all in one day.. But lets pretend. Leave St
John at 9 am check into Jost then head to Sandy Spit and Green Cay
for a good snorkel and swim… Catch the bubbly pool if the surf is
up on the North Shore. Should be about 11. Are you still ready to
snorkel some more? Ask the captain to take you along the north shore
of Tortola, scenery is breathtaking!
Stop
at Monkey Point and get in the water. This place is full of excellent
coral and stunning fish. Spend about an hour or so exploring the
reefs. Then get back on board and drop into Marina Key. Nice lunch
can be had here. Or travel across the channel and catch some lunch
at the Loose Mongoose. Walk the beach down to Aragons Art Studio!
Very interesting stuff can be seen on this beach.
Now that you have filled your belly's, let's head back into the
Sir Frances Drake Passage and start our way west. If time permits
stop one more time on your way back to customs. Ask the captain
which one will be the best stop. Salt, Indians, Water Lemon. Should
be about feeding time for the fish now get out of the water and
head back to customs.
You have just had a very fun day!
Around St John
Saving the best for last! Why mess with customs at all?
Take the tour around St. John. You have been doing the scary drive
around the island for days. Today let everyone relax especially
your frazzled driver. You will find St John even more inviting by
water. If you are looking for secluded beaches snorkel destinations
only visited by water and a thoroughly great day on the water this
is your trip, we will not reveal our quiet destinations… just pack
your gear, towel, sunscreen, your book and plan to relax all day
long.
Our captains are famous for this snorkel tour giving the swimmers
a great drift snorkel. This is the no hassle tour and it is fun…
We can even stop for lunch in Cruz Bay or Coral Bay or Caneel Bay
or Great Cruz Bay………… If you are powerboat people, this is the Cadillac
of power catamaran's. Smooth, fast and seaworthy. If you are sailors
your Captains are seasoned sailors…check out "about us".
They still sail but their mission on your day is to get you to your
destination in a timely manor, give you the ability to out run or
avoid the rain squalls and be able to show you more of the islands
and more of the fun than you can imagine.
