Our
first wholesale business on St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands was launched
in 1982. Moon Mosaic blossomed in 1998. Now a well-established wholesale
purveyor, Moon Mosaic markets a wide variety of jewelry and handcrafts
to fine retail shops located in the British and U.S. Virgin Islands.
As we are a local
enterprise and our products are handmade, our quantities are not limitless.
We can easily fill most orders that combine various pieces, but
if you require a large order of one specific item, please contact us well
in advance of your special occasion.
We add new designs to
our collections often. We are always happy to accommodate special
orders if we are given enough time.
Our
priority is to simplify the process of choosing gifts for your special
occasion. We will gladly work with you, your wedding coordinator or resort
concierge on any unique arrangements you require. As shipping from
the Virgin Islands can be costly, we recommend you read our Policies
and Shipping for suggestions if our islands are your

Shipping
and Delivery
Shipping:
We ship US Priority insured mail to the U.S., Canada, Puerto
Rico and the British and US Virgin Islands. Most addresses in the continental
United States should receive their orders within 7 to 12 business days
of placing the order.
Shipping
to and from the Virgin Islands can be costly depending upon the size of
your order. If your special occasion is to occur in the Virgin Islands,
we suggest you consult with your wedding planner or hotel concierge. Perhaps
they may agree to make arrangements for a local pick-up of your order
at one of the 3 delivery sites we use on St. John.
Delivery:
We offer free delivery of your order to the 3 sites on St. John
listed below. They are reputable mail services. They do charge a $3.00
pick-up fee.

Policies
Payment
Options: PayPal is our secure payment processor for transactions
on our website. They accept Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express.
They will also accept Debit Cards that have a Visa or Master Card
logo. If you prefer to pay by postal money order, it must be drawn
on a U.S. bank in U.S. dollars. We do not accept any other types
of checks. You must contact us at moonmosaic@earthlink.net
with your order. Paying by check may delay delivery of your order
by 3 weeks. Your order will not be processed until your check has
been received and the funds have cleared.
Order
Processing: We normally ship orders within 3 to 5 business days.
Unless you place an exceptionally large order, we will have most
items in stock. If an item is out of stock, we will notify you by
email. We will estimate the date of delivery of that item. If
the date is unacceptable, we will suggest acceptable in-stock replacement
gifts.
Special
Orders: We will be happy to work with you on any special orders
you have in mind. Contact us with your request. Please bear
in mind; our products are made by hand. Given enough time, we can
usually satisfy your request.
Gift
Wrapping: We do not offer a gift-wrap service. However,
we would be willing to gift wrap for orders of over 50 items if they are
purchased 3 months in advance of your special occasion. Please contact
us for arrangements.
On St. John, you can

for your gift-wrap needs. We would be happy to deliver your order
to The Mail Center.
If your special occasion
is on another island, consult with your wedding planner or resort concierge
about local gift-wrap services.
If you are not an island
resident but the Virgin Islands are your final destination, you may opt
to have your order mailed locally to your wedding consultant or resort
concierge or to personally pick it up from one of our 3 delivery sites
after your arrival (see Shipping).
In this case, we recommend you bring your gift boxes or tissue filled
gift bags and tags with you.
Engraving:
Although many of our gifts can be engraved, (all the silver bracelets,
lighter covers, money clips, medallion key rings), we do not offer that
service.
If you are not having
your order shipped to you before you arrive in the islands (see Shipping),
make arrangements with your local engraver that allows your guests to
bring their gifts to be engraved upon your return. Ask your wedding
planner if they have any information on local engravers.
Privacy
Policy: We strongly support any action and/or legislation that would protect
our privacy from the intrusions of spam, telemarketing and fraud.
Now that you know our personal sentiment, you can rest assured that
we are firmly committed to protect and respect your privacy. The
personal and financial information you provide to us, including your email
address, is used solely to process your order. We will never give,
sell, trade, or share that information with outside parties or companies.
Return
Policy:
We want you to be pleased
with your purchases. We provide detailed product and size information
on our site. We display good quality, realistic photos of our products.
However, as all of our merchandise is made by hand, we cannot be responsible
for slight differences in color or size. Please contact us if you
need further information on a specific item.
1.
We will accept the return of an item for a refund if you send it
back within 10 days of the receipt of that item. We must receive
the item within 30 days of your original purchase date so please
ship your package accordingly. It is best to email us advising us
of your return. You must return the piece unworn and undamaged and
in the original packaging along with a copy of your invoice to receive
your credit. We will refund the cost of the item to you. We will
not refund shipping costs. We do not give refunds for items held
by you for more than 10 days. Please return the item to the return
address on your shipment or contact us for the correct address.
2. If the item is damaged or defective, notify
us within 10 days of receipt at moonmosaic@earthlink.net
describing the problem. We will issue you an authorization number
for return and replace the item free of charge as soon as we receive
your return shipment.
3. You may exchange your guests’ Sterling
Silver Island Hook Bracelet, Petroglyph Bracelet or Single Stone
Larimar bracelet for a different size of the same bracelet within
10 days after the date of your special occasion. It must be returned
in its original unworn and undamaged state and be in accordance
with all exchange requirements stated in our policies.
4. Any item that has been personalized (i.e. engraved
or embossed) cannot be returned for a refund or exchange. We will
not process refunds or exchanges for any piece of jewelry that shows
signs of wear or has been altered or sized.
5. You may cancel an order only within 48 hours
of placing that order.
6. A special order or any item
of a special order cannot be refunded or exchanged except for defects.
7. Return shipping is the responsibility of the
customer. Our return policy does not cover lost items. If we do
not receive the original piece back, no refund or replacement will
be given. Please be sure to insure your return for the replacement
value, as we will not be responsible for items damaged or lost in
transit. It is wise to use US Priority or Express Mail, UPS or Fed
Ex. We will not issue a refund or exchange until we receive your
return. Please allow up to 25 days for us to process your return
credit or replacement. back
